As someone who LOVES music who considers Sumner County “home,” I was disturbed by recent news reports that the home country music legend Conway Twitty could soon face demolition due to damages caused by an EF-2 tornado that struck the property on Dec. 9, 2023.
For me, there truly is a song for EVERY occasion, and I know for a fact music can lift the mood of ANYONE who takes the time to listen to it!
I was having a hard time getting motivated to go out and sell the paper the day after Christmas.
Brooks moved to the area about a year ago with his wife from Daytona Beach. He stopped and asked what I was doing.
Some consider what I do (selling The Contributor) a glorified form of panhandling or begging.
In contrast, The Contributor IS “a Nashville Solution to Homelessness.”
People show genuine care and concern in a variety of ways.
Many of my customers know I will trade a paper for something to eat or drink. Here are just a few of the most recent examples.
In honor of my mom I recently had an opportunity to attend a star studded tribute to Ronnie Milsap at Bridgestone Arena.
His response?: “Just give me a call when you need me and I’ll be there.”
