God Loves All

When God created man, God intended for us all to love as he does.

I was just thinking back a couple of weeks and I was reading about the rich man and Lazarus and I asked myself a question.
The other day I was reading my devotional and it had a topic called, “Stop Crowing.”
I remember back when I was a kid I used to see my dad go out in the fields and plow cotton or whatever needed to be done in the field. He would stay all day, come home, eat dinner and shower. But what was so amazing was he would then spend five or six hours studying God’s word. I come to the conclusion and wonder, how can someone be so devoted to God like he was? I would say to myself, I wonder when I get up in age can I be that way?
God says in the Bible, “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.” Some people eager for money, have wondered from the faith. Many times you may be riding down the street and see a person panhandling and we pass them up, not knowing what they might be going through. We must start having a heart and give. You’re not responsible for what sin he may commit. We are just responsible for obeying God’s word.
In John, “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another.” Now that’s what many churches should preach because many have a serious problem understanding how they should love their neighbor. Many times I think churches should stop for some months and every Sunday they should preach love. How important love is as a Christian. In Proverbs 10:12 it says hatred stirs up conflict but love covers all offenses, and verse 15 says, “The wealth of the rich is his fortified city, the poverty of the poor is their destruction.” Many times when I’m on my corner that’s how I feel. Simply because that’s the way people act toward the poor.
Ran upon a friend and he introduced me to The Contributor. Right then I had the answer.
