God says in the Bible, “For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.” Some people eager for money, have wondered from the faith. Many times you may be riding down the street and see a person panhandling and we pass them up, not knowing what they might be going through. We must start having a heart and give. You’re not responsible for what sin he may commit. We are just responsible for obeying God’s word.
In Deuteronomy 15:10, God says, “Give to him, and don’t have a stingy heart when you give, and because of this the lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you do. For there will never cease to be poor people in your land, that is why I’m commanding you.”
Ya see, we see the poor and we look down on them, we hate, we mistreat them. It’s not right. Back in Moses’s day there were people they called beggars. In this day, we call them panhandlers. Lazarus was abetter. He ended up in heaven and the rich man went to Hell. People, don’t end up like the Rich man. Don’t let money stop you from being the person God wants you to be. We must love our neighbors regardless of the situation in life.
