“Being part of their journey and knowing I helped support their progress was an honor,” Terry said. “I hope to continue creating moments like that.”

“This recognition reassures me that the work I’m doing is meaningful and noticed,” he said. “But the real reward is seeing the outcome when a person’s effort and the support they receive come together and something changes for them.”

“This work is about walking alongside people who are navigating difficult systems and circumstances, doing everything possible to make sure they don’t have to face those challenges alone,” he said.

“We’re all in this together,” Terry said. “Our world has faced many challenges, from social injustice to civil rights struggles, and the only way forward is by standing together and choosing to make things better.”
