Brady is committed to leading organizational change that grows our social enterprise. He has served in various outreach and development roles in nonprofits and the public sector. Previously, he served at The Governor’s Books from Birth Foundation and the Mayor’s Office of Nashville. He formerly served on the Metro Council and Metro Homelessness Commission. He holds a M.Div. from Harvard Divinity School and a B.A. from Mercer University. He enjoys time with his wife, Kristin, and rambunctious son, Thaddeus, and writing, good music, good books, and Tennessee Vols’ football. Brady is responsible for overseeing all staff and guides the vision and mission of The Contributor.
Raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Molly relocated to Nashville in 2014 after graduating from the University of Michigan. Prior to joining The Contributor, she worked with Nashville’s network of homeless service providers as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the Metro Homelessness Commission. Molly is passionate about creating economic opportunity for vulnerable populations and improving social policy. She loves getting to know our Contributor vendors, visiting with hospice patients as a home care volunteer, and rollerblading. Molly leads all fundraising and operations for The Contributor.
A native of Illinois, Lauren Dougall moved to Berkshire, England with her family when she was only three years old and lived there for the next 22 years. She earned her degree in development studies and international relations from London Metropolitan University in 2010, finally moving to Nashville in 2013. Lauren began her work in nonprofit in 2008, and her specialties include fund development, fundraising, strategic planning, organizational growth, donor relations, and communications. She is currently earning her AFP Diploma in Fundraising Management. Now living in Madison with her husband, Stuart, she enjoys exploring America, flavorful tacos, perfect guacamole, angsty music, and busting chops.
Linda has been with The Contributor since 2011. She loves forming relationships with people and has a heart for non-profits, homeless advocacy and the arts. Linda holds a B.A. in journalism from Abilene Christian University and is quick to tell you she’s a Texas native. In the few moments when she’s not working, Linda volunteers on the board of Poverty and the Arts, volunteers for local homeless outreach organizations and is a frequent guest at coffee shops, junk stores and any place with a good donut. At The Contributor, Linda is responsible for volunteer coordination and Vendor Office support.
Amelia is responsible for managing The Contributor’s content, freelance staff and editorial calendar. She frequently writes about homelessness, affordable housing, human trafficking and politics. Before coming the The Contributor in 2016, Amelia worked as a television and print reporter in West Virginia. She also served as the Communications Coordinator for the Tennessee Bar Association, where she wrote about courts and legislation. Amelia holds a B.S. in political science from Shepherd University and an M.A. in communications studies from Marshall University. She and her husband, Sean, live in East Nashville and enjoy planning their lives around baseball season.
Megan O’Neill is the Creative Media Coordinator for The Contributor where she makes the pages dazzle with her modern design and layouts. She also curates art for the paper, as well as creates original graphic design. Before joining The Contributor in 2016, Megan worked in magazine publishing for seven years. She also currently serves as the Editor of ZouNation, a magazine focused on the University of Missouri’s athletics program. Megan earned her B.S. in Journalism from the Missouri School of Journalism, where she fell in love with university’s sports. A Chicago native, she is faithful to the Cubs, and loves chasing her fluffy Goldendoodle, Murray (yes, a Cubs reference).
